When the Swiss local authorities suspended the traditional Christmas market in Widen near Zurich to fight the spread of the COVID virus, our Swiss Chapter had to come up with a new way of distributing its Grittibänz. With support of the local bakery Stutz, orders were taken online and over the phone and a delivery team of friends and families took care of the distribution. There would be a Grittibänz sale even in 2020!

The effort paid of well. Last Saturday, 135 of the little baked figures were sold (last year 203) and a net profit of CHF 1'363.- made for the children of San Martin de Porres.
